The Pandora Problem. If you are a veteran in the sims community and you like to play with mods, particularly mods for adults, maybe you know about Pandora Sims. Pandora Sims is a web site of pay who is offering mods related to adults since The Sims 2.
Personally I'm not very familiarized with the site, because I started playing The Sims 3 and from there started making mods for the game. This problem is something known more by modders and creators than for simmers. And maybe you think that this has nothing to do with you. But maybe it does.
The principal and more importan tmod from Pandora is his super nude patch. You can get it if you pay a membership of his web site. In a different case it, will be a great deal because it looks like it have so much to offer. But the reality is that many of the content from the patch you can get it for free from the original authors.
The creator of the site has a bad habit to take mods and content created by others modders to add to his own mod and charge you for it (if you are willing to pay).
That bad practice discourages cc makers to continue creating new stuff. And with the time sites like Sexy Sims 2 (a web site with free adult content for The Sims franchise) they have been seen with less activity than in the past. Recently, I'm working more to create cc for The Sims 4.
Depending on what I'm doing, it will take me days, even weeks to finish. It's something that I enjoy doing. Many of what I have done can downloaded for free on this same blog. Or you can pay for it on Pandora Sims.
Speaking only by me, I never gave authorization to Pandora Sims for distribute my content and use my image competitions for make profits with him.
But I'm not the only person who see his work being sold by someone else. The section for The Sims 4 from the forum Lovers Lab has a big list of topics with modders constantly updating his work. All these makers have the same problem, we can not do much about that but we can let you know for prevent you from being stolen from too.
If you want to help us, please download all the content that you get from his respectives authors, and don't support this type of sites as Pandora Sims.

I used that sight in the past with sims 3 in till I realized that they were robbing creators by saying the creations were there's and changing them slightly never again every person should be warned against using that sight I wish they were shut down for stealing
ReplyDeleteThanks for this post and the link to Lovers Lab. It helped me prove to a friend, who is new to Sims, that Pandora Sims has been stealing others creations. She is glad she found out before subscribing to their site and has promised to support the ones they steal from instead.
